Generation Kill

If you don’t like your viewing packed with machismo, an automatic assumption of the superiority of all things American, casual misogyny and racism then this TV mini-series might not be instantly appealing. But, if you persevere, these excesses of testosterone are put firmly in their context since, if it’s a truism that any group of men thrown randomly together will tend towards manly banter, how much more intense must that become in war.
